Information for Bereaved Knights Family members

Brother Knights of Pangborn Council and Assembly,

Please let your loved ones know if you would like the presence of your brother knights in the form of a honor guard, Color Corps or if your family could use the help of pall bearers.  Wake service for a deceased brother Knight is for you as a Knight and for your Family.  One of our primary aims is to provide moral support to the Family of our deceased brothers.  In order for us to provide this service you must let your family know that we must have permission from them to do so.  Any Pangborn Knight of Columbus that becomes aware of a Brother Knight’s death should contact his Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator or Color Corps Commander immediately to arrange participation at wakes with information about the surviving family’s wake hours, place and time of the Funeral and Burial.

Funeral Directors,

During your interview with the grieving families the Pangborn Knights of Columbus request that when you discover a person is Catholic to ask if the deceased was a Knight of Columbus.  Please ask the Family if he would like to have a Color Corp stand vigil at the wake.  During that time we will be able to say the rosary, with the Family’s permission.  We may be informed through our web page:
